Training effective communication Bonaire

Gosh, It feels like months ago that I visited Bonaire and it has only been 2,5 weeks ago. Two and a half weeks ago there were no confirmed Covid-19 infections and free air traffic in Curacao.

A lot has changed since then. We are in a complete lock-down as are many people throughout the world.

In the pre corona era we had such a great time in Bonaire offering an effective communication training to law enforcement officers of #OLB together with Leo of the #Handhavingsacademie, situated in the Netherlands.

At the end of the training week we closed off the week with handing out the certificates to the participants during happy hour. We would like to thank Jair, Oswin and Patricia for making this training possible.

This pandemic has changed our jobs as trainers. With the social distancing measures to prevent infections there will be no more face-to-face group training, shaking hands, giving hugs and doing exercises in groups.

My work is my hobby, I love it, and I really miss it right now. We will have to see in the future the implications of the pandemic for trainers. For now, I will just look at the pictures and enjoy the memories.
